Vantera Aerial launches construction and commercial site documentation in Northeast Florida

St. Johns County drone and ground photography firm Vantera Aerial now documents construction and commercial sites across seven Northeast Florida counties.

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla., October 7, 2026. Vantera Aerial L.L.C., a drone and ground photography company based in St. Johns County, has opened for business with a focus on documenting construction projects and commercial property across Northeast Florida. The company also produces listing media for real estate.

Vantera works in St. Johns, Duval, Clay, Putnam, Flagler, Nassau and Alachua counties. It is now taking on its first site documentation programs.

Documentation built for job sites

Vantera sets a shot list with the project team at the start, then returns on a fixed schedule and shoots the same points and angles every visit. Each set is filed by visit date in a shared gallery, so progress lines up from cleared land to closeout.

A single visit can cover aerial stills and video, ground photography, full spherical panoramas inside the building, and a 3D model of the site. Vantera builds its 3D site models as a visual record of the site on the day it was flown, for progress reviews and owner updates. Work that has to be measured goes to a licensed surveyor.

The service is aimed at general contractors, developers, owner's representatives, commercial brokers, property managers and the insurers and adjusters who need a dated record of a property's condition. Vantera can document a site once, before work starts, or on a monthly schedule for the life of a project.

Founder

Vantera was founded by Corleous Kelly, who flies for the company and holds an FAA remote pilot certificate with a small UAS rating, the credential federal rules require for commercial drone work. The company is insured and was filed in Florida on September 8, 2026.

"I've wanted to fly since I was a kid spending summer money on RC planes, and Vantera is how I get to do that well and build something that lasts," said Kelly. "A job site changes every week. We come back on a schedule, shoot it the same way every time, and hand the team a record they can put in front of an owner or a lender."

What comes next

Along with client work, Vantera publishes The Contour, a news desk at flyvantera.com/articles. The Contour reports on land, construction and commercial property in the seven counties Vantera serves, working from county agendas, permits, land records and water management filings. Each records story links to the documents it was built on.

Vantera plans to add monthly documentation programs for active commercial projects this fall and to expand its listing media work with brokerages across the region.
